We are a community of beginning and experienced meditation practitioners in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, who find support in sharing our meditation practice. Group meditation is one way to nurture our own practice and also our community, and we welcome you to share this mutual support in our sitting group in the City of Saskatoon.


There are numerous resources and opportunities available in our area to deepen your meditation practice. We hope that this site will assist you in exploring and deepening your interests in Buddhism and Insight Meditation.

  1. BulletAugust 8-11, 2013. Touching the Earth - Awakening to our True Nature

  2. at Anglin Lake, Saskatchewan

  3. On the eve of his enlightenment the Buddha touched the earth and asked for help to awaken. On this silent camping/canoeing retreat we will touch the earth with our hearts, minds, bodies, and spirits. We will explore themes of nature as our teacher and our interconnection with all beings.

  5. BulletOctober 18-20, 2013. Venerable Dr. Pannavati. Venerable Pannavati is an inspiring international leader of engaged Buddhism.  She is a revolutionary in her ordination of Thai and Cambodian nuns, renowned for her work with homeless youth in North Carolina, and recognised for her ministry to the "untouchables" in India, and commended for her work with women and children in Thailand. She is ordained in both the Theravada and Chan Schools, and is a Zen and Tibetan practitioner.  Venerable Pannavati is known for her compassion, humour, and great energy and enthusiasm.
